All airports and borders were closed, and no travelers could enter Israel.I felt very sad and regretful about the war and messaged all the Israeli accommodations I had booked. Everyone understood the situation and gave me a refund, EXCEPT FOR this accommodation, which REFUSED to refund me. Their response was: 'Haifa is far from the war and still very safe.' WHAT??? I replied: 'It's not that I don't want to go, I simply can't get to Israel at all!' This time, the host completely ignored me. What kind of host is this? "While the country is in a state of war, ALL THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL ARE FIGHTING FOR HOMELAND, THIS HOST IS THE ONLY ONE SHAMELESSLY GUNNING FOR TOURISM BUCKS! Afterward, I contacted the host through Booking.com customer service THREE TIMES, asking them to provide a receipt for the deduction, as I needed it to claim insurance compensation. They said they'd sort it out when first called, but after that, NO RESPONSE to calls or emails. It's been "2 MONTH", and still, nothing from them. I have seen many reviews about this hotel being extremely dirty and making guests feel like the bedsheets were not changed. I advise anyone thinking of staying at this hotel to think twice. I dare to guess, if you stay here and encounter problems, the owner probably WON'T RESPOND directly, right? Haha, they've taken your money and don't even want to provide a receipt. What more do you expect from them? Take a look at the reviews! I'm not the only one facing this.
